Being a Lancastrian I came into Uni this morning expecting a flood of mail
in r.s.c. from elated Derbyshire fans gloating over their suprising and
extremely lucky victory in the B&H final on Saturday. But not a word has
been mentioned.
Does this mean there are no Derbyshire fans - hence the County is going bust
due to lack of members?
Does it mean they are still in such a state of shock over their fluke win
that they haven't picked themselves up off the floor yet?
Anyway, whatever's been said in the past about Wasim Akram being a great
bowler, he, along with the rest of the Lancashire bowlers, bowled
shite on saturday.
My colleague and I resorted to spotting Dead Ringers instead of concentrating
on Lancashire's demise and here they are:
Nick Speak = Hugh Lawrie
Kim Barnett = Leonard Rossiter
Oli Mortensen = Kevin Kline
I'm not too sure about the last one but Nick Speak definately looked like
and batted like Hugh Lawrie.
