No decent replacement for Katich.
Quicks were just ok.
Captain and VC didn't turn up to bat.

England played well, in all departments.

Not a good combo for Aus. Yet the series can still end 2-2.

   They need to draft in Nathan Hauritz in the playing XI to have any
chance

It makes perfect sense, but for the selectors to save face they might

That's only one of the reasons why it doesn't make sense.
Another is that a certain Boy Wonder is supposed to be, as he was first
picked, a spin bowler.

Is his bad back restricting his bowling? Otherwise, given how useless
Doherty and Smith have been, it's strange that he hasn't bowled more.
