Ryder's departure from Central Districts can hardly be termed a surprise
since Graham Barlow was appointed coach.  Barlow previously dropped from
Ryder from the under-19 team for disciplinary reasons.

Possibly a last chance for Ryder to prove he can knuckle down and make good
use of his obvious talent as a cricketer.
