Worst one was when he 'ran out' Malcom Marshall by *** the bails off
even tho he actually failed to catch the ball, had no ball in his hands.
Appealed and Marshall was given out.  Healy was an unbelievably unsporting
cheat.

Funny how the video is cut off before showing an appeal isn't it?
Wonder why they didn't show footage of him appealing ...

Perhaps you can tell us what match this was in?

1st Final, 1988/89 World Series Cup, Australia v West Indies, MCG.

Marshall was judged run out when a throw from Border to Healy missed
his gloves, but was given out. Marshall stood his ground for a few
seconds before trudging off.

Australian team that day was: Boon, Marsh, Wood, Border [c], Jones,
S.Waugh, O'Donnell, Healy, P.Taylor, M.Hughes, Alderman, M.Waugh
(12th).

When I saw this thread I thought the Brian Lara stumping from Brisbane
in 1992/93 off Greg Matthews might have got a mention.

Are you conveniently avoiding the rest of the circumstances?  You
know, the ones where, in missing his gloves, the ball looked to have
hit the stumps?  It wasn't definite, sure, but it was pretty clear to -
everyone- that "did it hit the stumps anyway" was the question being
asked - what with the ball lying on the ground and all.

You mean the one where Healy told the umpire he was unsure?  That
one?  And yet, despite this being pointed out to you on any number of
occasions and you backing down, you keep on bringing it up.  We going
to get another round of back-down/forget from you?

Huh?

It's on video, FFS!
Healy clearly breaks the wicket without the ball in his hand.
What was that all about?

He was only joking, a la Justin Langer?

Professional cricketers do not just randomly break wickets like that.
They do it for a reason.

You may not like the reason, that's all.

You mean the one when Lara was given out?
Or the similar incident during a game v Qld?

Healy has form.

And I particularly liked Alvey's posting of 'video proof' that Healy
didn't cheat, which he harped on about for months.
Shame the video didn't actually open.
