Oz WC squad: No surprises really

Ricky Ponting (captain), Adam Gilchrist (vice-captain), Nathan Bracken,
Michael Clarke, Brad Haddin, Matthew Hayden, Brad Hodge, Brad Hogg, Michael
Hussey, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Glenn McGrath, Andrew Symonds, Shaun
Tait, Shane Watson.

I think Tait is a waste of a spot though. The most likely thing he'll do is
injure someone in the nets.

in briz, 16th man, again.

Hopefully he will take his form from his 2nd odious match with him.

Wasn't Hilfenhaus in the running? Thought he looked good. And Cameron
White isn't more useful than Hogg? I suppose Hogg is the better
bowler.

I guess Stuart Clark will be missed.  I consider that a surprise.  I
would have given Tait's spot to him.

Hogg is by far the better bowler
White averages over 6 rpo and only averages a couple of overs a match.
He also averages under 20 with the bat.

Indeed they are the Bradmen.

No, Cameron White isn't more useful than Hogg.  The team is stuffed with
batsmen but would have no specialist spin bowling without Hogg.  And Hogg
can make the ball bounce before it reaches the batsman.

Fair call. The prospects of him being useful in more than one match
are far better

You could have been a nice person and mentioned I picked exactly the
same squad a few days ago.

I think in the Dream Team, I'll only be picking Punter from this lot unless
Symonds comes good.
