It's a disgrace that Wells hasn't played for England yet. I hear effigies of Ray Illingworth are being burnt all over Sussex. Besides which he's got to be a better bowler than Craig White.

Sussex men (and women) have been used to burning England selectors and managers
in effigy since about the time of Fred Tate; Paul Parker was another distinguished
victim of their cavalier attitude to South Saxon players.

And yes, I know all about Dexter, Snow, Greig et al. Resentment is just
more fun than satisfaction!!!
