1) Jo Jeeta woh *Sikandar*, Jo hara woh *Tendulkar*
2) Jo Jeeta woh Sikander, Jo *Hara* woh *Lara*

1) You assume that the Aussie attack is better. Maybe the bowling strengths
were similar and the Aussie batting is superior.
2) If Lara had made 206 in the second dig, it is likely the WI would have
won. Ponting's 206 was a superior innings.
3) As pointed out by others, Australia won. This is usually a factor when
deciding MOTM.
Gilly
(Still wondering how Lee dropped Lara on 6)
how many double centuries have been scored in Tests ?
As per r.s.c guidelines "useless" innings dont fetch MOM .... :-))
MOTM.

So there are double centuries and double centuries.
I suspect this one was a double century
(and I heard on the news that when he (Ponting) was out, it was
*nearly* another mistake by Ashocka. Larry does have a point, you
know)

I hope Asoka goes back, looks at the tapes and works on his skills and comes
back better and tougher.

> Tons.
On which subject, I note an inclination in some quarters to go metric. From
an article I read yesterday at Stuff:
"He [Mark Richardson] was within reach of his third century in a row after
ending the State Championship season with a tonne for Auckland."
