Calling Michael Seth:   Greg, Eileen, Chris, Paul and Jeanette are sitting
in Auckland on a sweltering Friday night, listening to Pollock laying in
to multiple sixes - what is the highest number of runs scored in one over
in one day international amongst the test level countries?

GT, ET, CD, PR and JMcD.

30... has been done several times. If Pollock had hit another six, he
would have broken the record.

Several months back iirc
One of the Indians scored 34 or 35 in an over that included a no ball

My have been a FC match... I've checked several records, the official
record is 30. Tubby Taylor said on TV that if Pollock got another one he
would have broken the record.

G'day guys

I guess if you've read other posts in this thread you'll see that the record
is 30 by a couple of people (good to see the NZ involvement with
Harry getting whacked for 30 and Drum coming in at number 4
with 27). Sorry I couldn't get back to you faster but because of
the time differences games start at about 8pm here and finish
at, well, late. I went home early since I had been on the turps and
I'm trying to get over a cold obtained whilst cycling home in
-19 degrees and missed the whole game. Hope all is well down
there in the country with the surprisingly good cricket team. They
do appear to be retaining the ability to look pretty good and
yet still not qualify for the finals. Go South Africa.

Cheers
Michael[Who's goin' skiing this weekend. Only a metre of
snow in the last week.]

Dear fellow fan-club member

I am disappointed that you have failed to note the presence of The Mighty
Bradburn in the list of most runs conceded in an odo over ("odor").  He
comes in at 5th equal, having conceded 27 to Imran Nazir (1) and Shahid
Afridi (64646).  Unlike last night's over from Franklin, Bradburn clearly
had Afridi in two minds, unsure whether to hit the ball for four or six.
