If the Aussie fast bowlers take about 4 or 5 wickets than Lyon could
come in and make things difficult. If they at least don't give away
easy runs and give away very few (less than 30) and take about 2 or 3
wickets it could still get interesting. But if runs are given away by
the fast bowlers without wickets its all over. Lyon and Marshall alone
cannot win this match. Whatever the result lets hope it is interesting
all the way through.

155... wasn't that the target at Chennai as well in that '01 series?

But the captain didn't make the stupid mistake of opening with the
spinner did he. :)

I would have expected that if Lyon was to open the bowling he would be
backed by Pattison and then Siddle. Since Marshall is not a regular
bowler it is expecting too much from him. So, opening with Lyon who
bowls all the way through and then alternating the faster bowlers to
keep up the pressure. That way the faster bowlers don't tire and the
pressure is maintained. But I guess now that a wicket has fallen
Watson might just continue with both spinners.
