I am posting this on behalf of Martyn Shortley.
Tomorrow is Saturday and I will not be coming in to work. Listen out
for Saturday Special with Paddy on the World Service!

England batted on until 5.25pm. (35 mins lost for rain).
Gooch claimed the highest test score at Lords prize amongst other
records.
India's openers had to face the English bowlers for 1 hour in the
evening - and did so with only a little discomfort.
India must now bat and bat [and bat and bat ...] with their first
target being 454 to avoid the 'follow on'.
NB I will not be at work tomorrow (Saturday), so there will be no
scorecard until Monday.
Regards,
Martyn.
