How else can one explain the fact that Pakistan, the number one team
in Group B, has lost both matches against Group A team? They are very
fortunate to have 4 points courtesy of weak teams.

I agree that Group A was stronger than Group B, but that is hardly
surprising. Most people felt that way before the world cup began! Group A
had only one non-Test playing country--Kenya--whereas Group B had
two--Bangadesh and Scotland.

BTW, NZ and Australia are not weak teams. On current form, they are better
than India and Zimbabwe.
