CSA not bothered by Henderson "defection"

Protea coach Eric Simons may miss Claude Henderson's presence at
weekend braais. But he says that as a player Henderson, who has signed
to play in England and has rendered himself unavailable for selection
for South Africa, will not be missed by the national setup.

"Claude's one of the best blokes you could hope to meet, always fun on
or off the field and a real team man. But his assessment that he's not
on the short list for selection to the national team is, franky,
correct."

Convenor of selectors Omar Henry added that after the dismal showing
in New Zealand the Proteas were looking at new options for the
spinner's birth, but that Henderson was not part of their plans. "I am
not alarmed," he said, "the selectors are often accused of not looking
ahead, but we do, and in this case the plan is coming together. Shaun
Pollock is coming along very nicely and he has shown us that he has a
really good arm ball."

Maybe, but Vettori's arm ball is quicker.

Well, didn't Boje get 8 wickets or something in the test they won ?
