SLEDGING EXPOSES AUSTRALIAN BIGOTRY

Anyone who has played against Australia knows how abusive and crude
they can become on the field.  Like a spoilt
child who cannot tolerate the notion of losing, the Aussies behave in
the most childish manner by trading insults at  teams
that they host. Is this sport?  Professional tactics?  I don't think
so.
Someone said that for all the shit Australia has been giving visiting
teams, sooner or later, someone is going to shove it
right back.  When that happens, I am certain that all these Aussie
supporters who have been pissing on articles written
against them, will have to ***in their own excrement.
Mark Taylor made a big fuss when some of the SL cricketers refused to
shake hands with him after that ill-tempered
WSC final but his own VICE-CAPTAIN, rated as the No 1 sledger, set the
example by abusing SL coach Whatmore.
EXCERPT FROM AAP REPORT:  Sri Lankan  coach  Dav  Whatmore,  a  former
Australian  test player,   could  be
seen  as a possible peace broker between the teams but he  refused to
discuss the matter.
"They are the facts. I have an association with both countries but
I'm only interested in the cricket side of things,"
Whatmore said.    He had earlier told a Melbourne  radio  station  he
had  been abused   by  Australian  wicket keeper
Ian Healy after Saturday's match when  he shook his hand.
********
When SL management sought a meeting with Hair ACB boss Halbish
arrogantly dismissed their request and now he is
demanding Ranatunga to make a statement. He got the typical Ranatunga
response.
EXCERPT FROM REPORTS: Australian captain Mark  Taylor  and  and
Australian  Cricket Board  chief executive
Graham Halbish had asked Ranatunga to make some  kind of public
comment which could ease tension between the
two  sides going into the World Cup.
"I'm a person who does not want  to  dance  for  whatever  the
people  say," Ranatunga said on the eve of the third
Test
"I do the right thing for my country and I have done that.    "I'm not
answering for Mr Halbish or Mr Taylor. I'm not
going
to  dance to what they want."
Well done Arjuna and I wish the SL management too took a tough stand
like you. Duleep Mendis has been too diplomatic to these arrogant
Aussies.
