Don't be silly. I couldn't be bothered *** all the way over to
Leeds for what could very well have been half an hour, and turned out
to be 16 overs.

Not bad at all.

Cheers,

Mike

I thought it rather considerate of the players to enact in real time what
was effectively a daily highlights package.  For those of us starting to
fall to pieces owing to a plethora of late nights, it meant seeing the
action and still getting to sleep at a decent hour.

The highlight for me was Martin's innings, which I thought his best in Test
cricket.  Didn't play a single false shot.

Indeed. My neighbour complained about my anguished yells of "Aag! Fire!" at four
in the morning on Sunday, and I was worried I'd have to repeat the dose. Getting
to bed at 12:30 was still late, but I guess not that bad. For some reason, I
couldn't get out of bed till twelve today all the same. Maybe I should try not
sleeping alone.

Or a single shot, for that matter.
