NZ 'A' v SL 'A'

SL 'A' has been bowled out for 212 (CS Martin 5-54, Butler 4-64).

Hettiarachchi had a finger fractured by Chris Martin in the final over
yesterday evening.  Fortunately for the left-arm spinner, the fracture is on
his right hand.

Hey Dungford (TM), are they playing any 'A' games near Auckland?

The nearest one to Auckland is in Christchurch.  You could do the trip by
car and ferry in about 18 hours.

Off you go, email us from Christchurch when you arrive. IIRC (from the
voluminous correspondence during the takeover of my TRH.NZ shares) the ferry
is about 4 hours. My recollection of driving in NZ (Auckland to Rotorua) is
that expressways haven't been invented and everything takes twice as long as
you allow for.

Three hours on the standard ferry, about 30 minutes less than that on the
catamaran, plus mucking around time queueing up.

Indeed.  Expect to spend periods stuck behind tractors on the main road.
