India won the semi-final against RSA by 2 runs in a nail-biting
finish at Eden gardens.
Inspirational captaincy by Azharuddin -- RSA needed 6 off the
last over and the ball was handed to Tendulkar to do the
job and the youngster came out with flying colors.

Scores :
--------

INDIA   195 ALL OUT
RSA     193/9 IN 50 overs

Its after quite a long time that india pull victory from jaws of
defeat, they usually were doing the opposite for the past few(dare i say
several !!!)years  -a positive sign for indian cricket in particular and
cricket compitions in future in general.

Congradulations indian fans.

Oh  Thankyou so much ! Makes me feel much better to know all  that. All
we need now is Mr Salmon Ass-ir (I am afraid my spelling is not too
good) to come up with  some other  smart ass comment about Indian fans
so that we can  feel  better about our team participating in different
compitions(competition...maybe) so that we can get more of the
congradulations ;-)

Down here is another example to add to the illustruous list of msulim
sounding names that got flamed for just having a muslim souding name.
The message should be clear:  The Indian dominated RSC is quick to
condemn DS[Q]A's mention of the clear bigotry, and label him as a
bigot, but it is reluctant to recognize that having a muslim sounding
name is an invitation to flames.

The funny thing is all that the muslim sounding name did was congrat
India. :)

And here is a pat on the back for flaming a muslim sounding name
(Raza) for congrating India.  Where is your sense of justice now?

Why is your secular voice now?

Hey, I just posted this because it looked like a good flame.
Now here is a 'Muslim sounding nam' ragging on a 'hindu
sounding name' without knowing the facts. If the response was
posted to a 'hindu sounding name', I would have still
applauded the effort.

Stop being paranoid, stop acting as though all hindus hate
muslims.
