I blamed Ganguly for not picking Agarkar and not the other way round
as you say above. Who was the bowler who did the best when India last
played on bouncy tracks? What wrong did Agarkar do in the last test he
played when he had better figures than Mujranath? Just because he didn't
do well in one tour match gives no excuse for Ganguly to drop him. Will
Gillespie be dropped if he dosen't do well in a tour match in India? And
why was Agarkar not allowed to play in the first tour match(which was a
test for three pace bowlers to take up a Test spot for the 3rd seamer)
if he was not assured of a place in the Test team? Moreover, the same
Ganguly has been praising Agarkar off the field all the time. I don't
have a problem with Nehra doing well(after all he looked better than Prasad
in the one match he played earlier) but i do have a problem with Ganguly
playing around with Aggy's career.
