Well, having seen all of the action on TV post-lunch, I can only say
that this pitch is no different from the one at Hyd. As typical an
Indian pitch as you can hope to find these days.

Looks like it was the usual indecent Australian batting. :)

At least he's rating the pitch. You've spent the series rating the
Australian batting, and then bizarrely calling the Indians cheats when
it's been atrocious.

Cheers,

Mike

I have said numerous times that the Australian batting is bad. Actually
I have used terms that are a bit more colourful. I have also said that
even if the pitches were fair I still think India would win quite easily
as outside Clarke they dont have a Test quality batsman. The bowlers are
doing a better job with the bat then the batsmen, well figures may
disagree but at least they are showing fight. Its just a pity that their
bowling doesnt show more fight.

By deliberately not putting water on the pitches you end up with sub
standard Test pitches. Yes, they spin in India but that is accentuated
by not putting water on them. And they do this for one reason , to give
India the best chance to win. Now they call people who pick at the seams
"cheats" because they try to influence the condition of the ball
unfairly yet you can make goat tracks like we have that influence the
condition of the ball a lot more.  And when you do this and this assists
one team a lot more then the other then I consider it cheating.

Oh so you're saying that we also cheated against Eng by preparing
pitches that favored them a lot more? We rarely do well at the Gabba
or WACA but have never complained about the deck helping your team a
lot more than it does ours, what?

Face it - while your batting hasn't exactly gotten too many brownie
points, it's your totally inept bowling that's really lost you the
Tests... e.g. those two sessions where Dhawan scored 180 must rank as
one of the worst Test bowling displays I've seen in India.
