Name: rec.sport.cricket.news (moderated)

Purpose: To provide a quality cricket information service for
         a general audience on USENET.

Content: Results of all International and domestic matches, Tables
         scorecards, Match reports. News. statistics and any other
         material relateing to the game of cricket.

Discussion: All followups for discussion will be posted to
            rec.sport.cricket.

Role of the moderator:

1: All material submitted to the newsgroup for publication will
   be subject to the approval of the moderator(s)
2: The moderator will ordinarily reject for publication all
   follow-up opinionated discussion, except whre it adds to
   the newsworthy content of the original.  Exceptions to this
   may be made at the moderators discretion.  ALL articles
   that are rejected by the moderator will be posted to
   rec.sport.cricket.
3: At the moderators discretion, certain contributors will be allowed
   to post directly to RSCN, but this privilege may be revoked if
   abused wilfully.
4: The moderator may or may not choose to enter into discussion
   regarding the reasons for rejecting material posted to RSCN
5: The moderator may scan RSC and RSCS for material not posted directly
   to RSCN.
6: The moderator may be removed if a clear majority of the readers of RSC
   vote to do so, subject to a "quorum" of at least 100 voters.

Relationships with other groups:

All material submitted to RSCN will be automatically cross posted
to rec.sport.cricket.  Contributors to RSC & RSCS should be mindful of the
existance of RSCN and cross-post where appropriate.
All material posted to RSC or RSCS may become part of RSCN whether posted
directly or otherwise.

The poster is responsible for checking that any articles are free
from copyright, and the moderator has no duty to do so.

If you would like to propose somebody else FIRST get the permission of that
person and then post.

Sound good to me but there is a minor point.  If you automatically cross post
anything that is sent to RSCN to RSC, then the moderator need not post
rejected articles to RSC (they will already have been automatically cross
posted.  I don't realy want to see too much duplication on RSC.

In addition if someone sends something to RSCN they should not cross post to
RSC as this will also cause duplication.
