Except for Hayden and Symonds can we please stop picking f***ing
Queenslanders?

They can't step up to the plate. Whether it be Johnson, Myth, Can't
Bowl Can't Throw, Law, Maher, Hauritz, Hopes, Hartley, Bichel,
Ritchie, Kerr, Kent, Rackemann, Hohns, Maguire, Trimble and many more.

Queensland's best ever three players were imports being Border,
Chappell and Thomson. Says it all about them.

Yes Hayden, Symonds, Healy and McDermott have done or did well and
Kasprowicz was solid to sometimes good. The rest aren't worth a
postage stamp.

Time to end the b/s bias.

Find a way to get White and Clark into the World Cup at the expense of
Johnson and Myth and we might be able to compete.

Whatever the true merits of Johnson et al, swapping any of them for
White would be of very doubtful value.  You'd be better off borrowing
my dog than taking him.

How dare you put Bichel in that list.  You sir, are a buffoon.

Briefly, there was a time when VII of the XI were from WA :-)

I can't remember them all, but these might have been VI of them:

Wood
Laird
Hughes
Marsh
Lillee
Alderman

Would GS Chappell have been playing at the same time?

I haven't checked if you're right about those 6, it looks right but
I'm not sure
Yardley was the other iirc

Yeah, I think that was around the 82/83 Ashes series

Um, do you remember the Pura Cup final last year.  How did your Victorian
mates go aganist Queensland again????   Wasn't it the WORST defeat in the
history of the competition?

If I had all day (and I'd need it)  I would make a list of dunder head
cricketers from Victoria.  Here's just a sample:  Going right back to the
70's there was a guy called Yogi the Windmill, a leg spinner called Higgs,
an opener called East-something - all hopeless ***ers.
