by has now be raging on for a long time now, at times has become overheated and
now seems to be drifting to nowhere.
As a confused observer/bystander I think its time to pause for a bit, and see
i)what conclusions one can draw from this debate so far and ii) consider what
direction is it heading towards.
Pardon my ignorance, but one thing I would say that one cannot meaningfully
compare todays good players with yesteryears good players merely based on
statistics and part statistics.
