I just can't understand all the comparison between these two great players, why
can't people understand that its virtualy impossible to compare players of
different eras, such as Bradman 30's & 40's, and Lara of the 90's. There are
so many factors involved that makes comparison impossible.
Can anyone know for sure that Bradman would have been able to acheive the
sort of acheivements of the 30's and 40's in the very competetive era of the
80's and 90's. This is not meant to take anything away from the DON, who I
beleive happens to be the greatest batsman so far...
Let's put a stop to all these stupid comparisons and just enjoy their valid
contributions to cricket.
Finaly I must add my congratulations to Brian Lara on such a wonderful display
of concentrated batting.
