Botham to retire, Mushtaq to miss Barbados etc.

It was announed on BBC Sports Roundup that Botham will retire from first
class cricket at the end of this English seaon with Durham.

It seems Mushtaq will be rested from Barbados Test. He has a bad disk and
he is advised some treatment and rest. The Pak management hopes that with the
rest, he will be able to play at Antigua. There is also a suggestion that he
may go London for a second opinion during this one week period.

It seems Pak team is not going to protest or report on the condition of
Port of Spain pitch. But Raman Subbarow, the ICC match referee is going to
report on the state of the pitch for the first test match in his match report.

That should not be necessary at all. All you have to do is reboot
Mushtaq. ;-) :-) :-)

Good move by Pakistan! I think this pitch wouldn't have been
deemed fit for a county match. Nevertheless, that takes nothin away
from WI's convincing victory.

Even if he was fit, 4 seamers in Bridgetown is a better idea.
