A few days back, I posted a cricket trivia on who was the aussie batsman who
scored fastest half century in first-class cricket? This "bloke" was Victor
Trumper who once scored a half-century in only 9 balls!

Later,
Sandeep.

i do not know if he did it really but theoretically it is possible.

5 sixes = 30
1 four  =  4
3 sixes = 18
------------
9 balls = 52

and this way he won't equal sobers's record.

but i do not if this happened.

I don't know the breakup of his shots, but I did read about this record.
Another possibility I can think of is:

        4 sixes = 24
        2 fours = 8
        3 sixes = 18

This again adds up to 50 and doesn't violate the known record of 6 sixes hit
by Sobers and Shastri.

I will try to find more details on it.

Cheers,
Sandeep.
