World Record?( 3 innings win in a row)

Post by Mahesh Govind Jos » Fri, 19 Mar 1993 12:47:02

Well, this hasnt***up yet so I decided to ask.

Has india created a record by winning 3 consecutive test
matches, each by an innings...

ie winning 3 cons. tests by an innings == world record ?

Thanks in advance...

Actually this is quite in***ic and thus has difficulty
in 'cumming', we are of course asking masters and johnson for a

Don't know about that one, but I bet Indians are close to a world record
in terms of the number of posts about possible Indian world records in
the last week or so :-)

heh? who these new players are? Are they imported in English
team for injecting more adrenalin? Are they being howling,
        ***-curdling, chest-thumping, ball-swinging, bat-smashing
        fast bowlers or air-hopping, Qadirish arm-swinging, ass-wiggling,
        gentle ball-fulltossing Gavaskar-type spin bowlers?
Are these some world-recorders? Spaceman to check records pliss.

of the swinging type. The beleive in injecting more than adrenalin in

OBcricket:
Notice how Azhar gave Prabhakar and Kapil a total ~20 odd overs
for the whole test, I mean how the hell are we ever gonna get fast bowlers
if we treat them like this. We have great prospects in people like Srinath,
Abey and Prasad, but we still believe in having dead wickets and lame-ass
spinners who are better at spinning yarns then balls. Lets wake up to reality
and acknowledge that spinners can never win matches on a consistent basis,
only pace bowlers can.

aie, AIE, are you making such scabrous remarks on this forum
for what is "Gentleman's game"? I am knowing about steroids in
sports. But are you askancing about testosterones for enhancing
balling performance? Is what John Lever did also? I am new to this

huh? Bladdy this game must be changed lot since I last thunk about
it way back in Hobbes days. Are they allowing 69 runs in one
ball?? Strange...Halcyon days of yore, nice, gentle pace of
one run in 69 balls [Gavaskar played *vintage* innings in '74,
36 in 60 overs, na? Cultural pride, I must say]... all you sixties

You have the right idea, but the wrong spelling, its 'piss patient'
dear fafat, that's how we find the testostterones and steroids.

Now that you have asked, let me explain. Catching balls is the normal
mode of play, though of course there are exceptions like Waqar who likes to
pinch them, and wasim who gives disproportionate attention to just one
side of them. Anyway prior to actual balling, precautions are taken to
make sure extracover is removed to entice the 'drive' and the slips are
spread waiting with a tingle

Yeah, yeah. Lever used vaseline to aid his balling. Reduces friction,
helps the balls swing in and out...

        Tsk.Tsk. This is no rec.entertainment.indian.cinema. Don't

:-) :-). Ok, ok, since you want serious dicussion, I'm pitching
in my salt [pun mode off]  :

0] Could someone, perhaps Talluri, compare Barry Richards and Maninder
           Singh?
1] Ravi Shastri is the greatest after Gavaskar.
2] Tendulkar does'nt know the back of his bat from the handle.
3] Richards could never face the zinging out***s of Bedi.
4] Kambli shd retire. Right now, peepuls will ask "why?" and not
           "why not?".
5] Azza is a useless captain. Bring in Raman.

Arrey baba, didn't the vaseline reduce friction on one side of the ball
helping it to swing in and out as Lever wanted? Maybe Monsieur Spiff
could confirm...

Best opener India has produced after Gavaskar retired.

Kambli does have an active night life (which is why he failed in down

        taking care of that.
