Top BCCI official says the 1994 test match between India and WI in Mohali was FIXED

Post by outsourcingbusin.. » Mon, 14 Apr 2008 02:19:48

Mr. IS Bindra says that the 3rd test match played in Mohali between
India and WI in 1994 was fixed. He says that it was odd how the top
order collapsed while the bottom players. The numbers 9, 10 and 11
hung around for about 2 hours. He further goes on to talk about how
Azharuddin had admitted to match fixing and also Ajay Jadeja's
involvement. He did add that others too were involved.

Now all of the above is no big news since the match fixing expose in
2000. What is amazing is that this show was aired on NDTV 24/7 in a
show called "Walk the talk" by a guy named Shekhar. Now it is amazing
that NDTV airs this show and doesn't edit the part about Ajay Jadeja.
Since Ajay Jadeja is a cricket expert who comes regularly (almost
everyday) on NDTV 24/7 to talk about his expert views on cricket. I
guess the morality in India has reached such low depths that being
indited for match fixing is something that now can be worn as a badge
of honor rather than a badge of shame.

Probably also why IS Bindra was saying that although Azharudding fixed
matches he wanted Azharudding to attend a ceremony of all x captains
of India. I guess shame is something India no longer has. The tragedy
here is that at the end of the day, more than all the laws in a
society its the element of shame (at least when caught) that helps
deter crime to some extent. Having an attitude where anything goes and
everything is permissible can only lead to eventual disaster. Is this
where India is heading. It sure looks like it.

You are singling out India for things that happen even in your great western
world on a daily basis.

You are a self loathing ignorant lunatic.

No wonder India hating racists Andrew Dunford, Rodney Ulyate, Paul Robson
and Mike Holmans loves you.

There can be no bigger idiot than you if you say that just because
corruption happens in the US the corruption issue is as bad as India.
If that's your attitude that I guess you deserve the pitfalls such
attitudes bring. Yes, corruption is everywhere. Its the quantum of
corruption which is troubling in India. But I guess such things don't
matter to you. Of course the odd cop is corrupt even in the US but if
you take the percentages it is far far far less than in India. In
India justice belongs to those who have the power. The power need not
neccessarily mean only political power. It could be power even at the
local goonda level. But if you have connections (not neccessarily
being very rich but of course that helps as well) than you can
LITERALLY get away with ***.

If you are indeed living in India than one day you will realize what I
am talking about. If you have so far been fortunate not to have to
have gone to the police than maybe one day you will realize. If
injustice is done to you by someone who has connections with the cops
and you are not as well connected than just watch the fun. And the day
you undergo a tragedy and demand justice in such a situation you will
understand. So far maybe you have been fortunate but if you do indeed
live in India (and are not writing this for somewhere outside of
India) than one day you will realize what I am saying. Of course if
you are not living in India and are simply trying to defend India than
stop your hypocrisy. Live in India undergo the difficulties one
undergoes in this country and then comment. But as I stated above, if
you do indeed live in India and have so far been fortunate to have
escaped any MAJOR interactions with the justice system than you are
lucky but one day you may experience what I am saying and than
hopefully you will understand what I am talking about.

Quote:

My comments are for justice. They have no barriers. I believe I stuck
up for the Indian team when I felt they were wrongfully being targeted
in Australia. On the other hand I have no respect for Pau Bhajji if he
indeed said those things KNOWING FULL WELL that Symonds would consider
them racist. Saying something in anger would have been okay by me but
not when he knows he is saying something derogative to someone.

As far as matchfixing goes (which is what the original post is about)
what did I say that is wrong. Has Azharudding (who is far more guilty
than probably even Hansie Cronje) and who has certainly made far far
far more money than Hansie Cronje, has this man recieved any huge
public desecration. No, I see him in social interactions all over
India. The man sold our country by selling the sport we all love down
the drain. He was doing so for years before he was caught. To me its a
crime worse than *** and this criminal should have spent years in
jail. But all he got was a life ban which I felt was being too lenient
on him. But that aside, at least the public should avoid this man. I
can understand a few deluded people*** out with him and still
singing his praises (maybe you are one of them) but by and large most
people should shun such a man. At least the cricketing fraternity
should. Where is the question of felicitating such a man in function
or even inviting him to a huge function for that matter.

As I stated. If you truly are comparing the US and India in terms of
justice recieved to people who have been wronged and justice meted out
to criminals than I believe you are truly deluded. Of course there is
a level of injustice even in the US and there are times when criminals
go scot free but its far far far less than what happens in India.

The Andrew Dunfords, the Mike Holmans of this newsgroup love you
because you make them look like cricket geniuses.

Yes there is corruption in India but you can criticize corruption
in India instead of posting filth as if India is the only corrupt country
on earth.

There is as much corruption in USA or any other developed country

US Government ***s more human beings than any other

By the way you are one of the most boring posters on rsc.

There is absolutely nothing one can learn from your cricket comments.

Did I say India is the only corrupt country on earth. Why don't you
read what I wrote. I believe I clearly stated that corruption exists
everywhere. Its the quantum of corruption in India which is
troubling.

Quote:

> There is as much corruption in USA or any other developed country
> as in India.

Completely disagree with this point. If you are arguing the above then
there is just no point in discussing. Corruption in the US exists at
high levels. Corruption in India exists at every level. I have lived,
worked and have been involved with small to medium sized businesses in
the US. Not once did any issue of paying a bribe or any type of
corruption ever occur. In India even a very small businessman has to
undergo corruption. You see I am speaking from experience and not
merely rhetoric. As regards to the cops. Of course there are corrupt
cops in the US. But as bad as that may be in India the situation is at
least 10 times (if not a hundred times) worse. As I stated, if you
live in India a day will come when you will realize what I am saying.
If you are not living in India stop trying to defend the injustices
that are going on here. Live here and then see for yourself. Once
again if you are living here and have so far been spared our great
Indian justice system than perhaps one day you will realize what I am
saying.

The only difference is crooks in USA wear expensive

Quote:
> suites that make them look like Gentlemen.

As I stated before and will repeat, corruption exists everywhere, its
the quatum of corruption in India which is troubling.

Quote:

> US Government ***s more human beings than any other
> entity on earth and gets away with it because the world is
> infested with slavish self loathing idiots like you.

The issue is not about US's *** over the world. Its about the
corruption within the country. But I would like to say one thing since
you are bringing up an entirely different issue than the one we are
discussing. The US being the only superpower has certainly become
arrogant. But can you even for a second just imagine what some other
country would do should they be as powerful as the US. See the way
China is treating India. The arrogance is amazing and our pathetic UPA
leaders are just cowing down.

Quote:

> By the way you are one of the most boring posters on rsc.

Frankly, if you lack imagination you will find others' imagination and
ingenuinity boring. Simply because you lack the understanding. Your
ignorance of what I write propels you to write whatever you have
written. One day maybe you will understand. Till then you will
continue your tirade of just insulting what I am writing.

Quote:

> There is absolutely nothing one can learn from your cricket comments.- Hide quoted text -

Once again a comment made by an ignorant person who probably doesn't
understand either cricket or other aspects of life.

You are a very immature human being.

What the hell has IS Bindra saying a test match between India and WI was
fixed got to do with small and medium businesses in USA ?

There is as much corruption in US Sports industry as there is in India.

Bribes and illegal payments to players in NCAA, illegal steriod use in
Football and baseball, *** and betting, *** and drug use
not to mention match fixing in almost all sports in USA.

Even a few sports referees were accused of match fixing recently.

***, *** and Meth are widely used by rich, middle class
and poor people in USA including Government officials and administrators.

Eliot Spitzer, Governor of NY was paying ***s for sex for decades while
prosecuting ***s at the same time.

Go read WSJ and you will find corruption news and scandals every ***ing
day.

I hate to say it but its a fact you are one of the most boring posters on
rsc.

Regarding your comments on US being as corrupt as India.

Quote:

> There is as much corruption in US Sports industry as there is in India.

I am talking about corruption in general in society. About the quantum
of corruption and not whether corruption exists or not. I refuse to
accept the comment on US being equally corrupt as India. China on the
other hand may not be only as corrupt but possibly even more corrupt
than India.

I agree corruption does exist in the US. Once again its the quantum of
corruption that I am talking about. Its really simple. Many Americans
can go through thier entire lives without being affected by
corruption. It is difficult to find many Indians who have not been
touched by any form of corruption in thier lives. Most encounter it on
a regualar basis.

Quote:

> ***, *** and Meth are widely used by rich, middle class

Agreed. *** are  a serious problem in the US.

Quote:

Sexapades are there everywhere. But since you bring up sexapades of
politicians (where America may be on par with India) I would like to
bring out the fact that a young girl was***d by cops just a couple
of days back in Punjab (if I'm not mistaken). She was sitting with
someone in the park and 3 or 4 cops came took her away, took the other
guy somewhere else and***d her. This didn't happen in a jail cell
but in a supposedly safe environment. And was caused by cops not some
anti social elements. (Of course cops in India are considered anti
social elements by many people but thats a seperate argument). I would
like to add here that I have friends who are in the police. Not all
cops are bad. I would much rather have the police than have no police
force as that would lead to complete anarchy. But the point I am
making is about the whole system being very corrupt and going from bad
to worse.

Quote:

> Go read WSJ and you will find corruption news and scandals every ***ing

Once again I agree corruption is everywhere. Its the quantum and scale
of corruption in India which is worrying.

Dude,

You dont make any sense at all complaining about Lalit Modi running
BCCI despite his drug use 25 years ago and some other shit like that.

It proves your immaturity beyond doubt.

Secondly you are one of the most boring posters on rsc which is the
reason the Andrew Dunfords and Mike Holmans love you since you
make them look like cricket geniuses.

This comment from you PROVES you are a ***ING HYPOCRITE.

Lalit Modi should not be running BCCI because of his drug use but
Hillary Clinton CAN be president despite WHITE WATER GATE SCANDAL,
Vince Foster *** TAINT, Pardoning convicted crook Mark or  Mike Rich
who lives in Switzerland for his campaign contributions and MANY OTHER
SCANDALS and CORRUPTION.

Your comment also proves you are a western worshipping Indian SLAVE.

Where have I made a hypocritical comment. Do you know the meaning of
the word hypocrite. It seems that you have been insulted a lot on rsc
so you take out your frustration on others. Since many people on rsc
or other sites might have called you a hypocrite you feel that this
insult should be said to others.

You are an idiot. You will remain an idiot. One cannot have a
discussion with an idiot. I will refrain from writing to you since you
are an idiot. I felt that one could have a discussion with you (even
though I felt you were an ignorant person) but from this current reply
it proves you are also an idiot and are simply bent upon insulting
people. As regards to being boring it seems you are the one who has no
insight into cricket. Your comments are not just boring but lack any
insight. All you do is sometimes state the obvious and at other times
just insult people. You lack imagination and on top of that are such
an idiot that you can't recognize intelligence amongst other people.

How does Hillary Clinton come into this argument on Lalit Modi. Even
if you don't like Hillary how does that justify Modi being worthy of
running the BCCI. Two wrongs don't make a right. I am not agreeing
with you on Hillary but even if one argued against Hillary how does
that justify Modi as being this great person worthy of running BCCI.

If you honestly feel Obama is better than Colin Powell you ought to
have your head examined. But since you are an idiot and are symtomatic
of this type of foolishness I guess it does make sense that between
Obama and Colin Powell you would choose Obama.

As to any further discussion on cricket first learn to analyze and
critique rather than abuse people. If you continue to write insults I
for one would not even find it worthwhile to reply to your posts.

Every country has people in power that do not necessarily uphold the
values of the people they represent.  Look at the USA. Just because
there's one or two arseholes in India, doesn't mean they're all
arseholes.

Unfortunately there are more than 1 or 2 arseholes in India. Out of
the 500 plus MP's in parliament there are quite a few bozos.

I am not even getting into the thousands of MLA's across India.

But politicians apart its the corruption in the police force which is
most worrying. While corruption exists in the police force even in the
US its the quantum and scale of corruption which is worrisome in
India.
