        Hi Cricket fans,

Here is an interesting result of one of the 45 over league
        match of NCCA.

        Spartan cricket club(formerly GCC)

        Elected to bat first.
                43 runs for no loss.
                48 for 4
94 all out in 29.5 overs.

        Stanford cricket club.
Chasing a target of 94 batted slowly and steadily.
                ...
                93 for 6
                94 for 7
94 all out!! in about 33 or 34 overs.

The match ended in a tie!

Curiously, are there any such interesting results of one day
        international matches?

I think that under the usual rules for International 1 Day games
Stanford would lose because of their slower run rate.

If you are dismissed you are deemed to have faced all 50 overs (or
whatever) thus the run rate is identical.

I seem to remember a match where a team declared its one-day innings closed
when the score was level, to guarantee a win (for less wickets lost)
ie they were 7for 90 or something, and there was a real chance they would lose
3 for 0, and only tie the match. I cant remmeber which match it was, or
what standard.

What a coincidence ... in a recent match for the club ( Standards C.C.)
that I play for the scores went something like ...

Spartan Cricket Club ( near Ilford, North London )

Elected to bat first:
    40 for 4
    94 all out ( in 37 overs )

Standards Cricket Club ( in Harlow )... batting slowly and steadily

   70 for 3
   88 for 7
   90 for 8
95 for 8   to win the game by 1 wkt ( we only had 10 men )

I know this is of little interest to anyone else, but the teams are
very similar and so are the scores !!!
