        CRICKET REFERENCE BOOKS

Those of you who are statistically inclined may like to consider
the following reference books which are the most authoritative  in
their field:
Wisden Book of Test Cricket,by Bill Frindall. This gives the full
scorecard (with some comments) for ALL tests played since 1877. The
last edition covered tests upto 1984. Do any of our friends in UK
or Australia know if a new edition is out?
Wisden Book of Cricket Records, also by Bill Frindall. This gives
a summary of records and interesting occurences in first-class as
well as test cricket. The last edition covered matches upto 1985.
Anyone know of a new edition?
Figures of Cricket, by Sudhir Vaidya. This covered a number of
areas which were not included in the better-known reference
works. Unfortunately, it covers only test matches upto 1976.
