The NZ tail is wagging as usual. Azar's handling of the bowlers was
in keeping with  his usual standards. Can anybody comment on the
fielding -- i.e. was it as good as the bowling ?
:-)

Hate to tell you this but Nash and Vetorri are not the tail, Wiseman and
Doull are...

Nash seemed streaky early on and (at least I felt) was half-lucky
to survive for the first 15 or 20 minutes, but Vettori looked the
part right from the beginning and has had little or no difficulty
(apart from a few short pitched ones off of Srinath). And as an
Indian fan (well, of sorts :-) I can tell you that the fact they
kept bringing up the small matter of his having gotten 90 against
Zimbabwe *in* Zimbabwe was of little or no comfort at all and hardly
helped to ease the nerves any.

If we can get the last 3 today for the addition of no more than
another 30 or 40, then we have an outside chance of still being
in the game. If that doesn't happen however, then well, just go
ahead and chalk this test down as yet another "first" test
India has lost away from the confines of its own shores.

Cheers,

Harish

What do you expect! We lost to Zimbabwe didn't we. Too much one day cricket.
When will India win an away Test series?
