Tendulkar and Dravid.
Both deserving, lion-heart 12fer notwithstanding.
Aging Kapil Dev gets useless 25 wkts in Aus in 91-92 and gets hailed.
Kumble's 24 wkts in 3 tests is up there too. He took more wkts in the
match than all Aus bowlers put together. Still it wasn't enough.

Very disappointing support  - wish Zaheer and Bhaji were healthy.  Irfan was
a distant 2nd, Kartik and Aggy didn't show up, and Patel had costly misses.

My MoM is Kumble.

1. Lots of runs and less of wickets on this pitch.
2. Out of 16 Aus wickets, he took 12.
3. Out of 25 wickets that fell, he took almost half. Just to emphasis
no other bowler did well here.
4. Negligible support from his partners.
5. SRT had lots of support. In fact he was anchoring when others did
the main job.
6. Kumble bowling to the best bats, SRT facing not so great bowling.

As much as I relished SRT's contribution, my vote goes to Kumble. If
only he had good support and good keeping, India would have won the
match.
