for those who may be puzzled by the non-consistency of the
categorizations,
please clarify with your nearest Indian upper-class clueless friend :-)

2. Mumbai-ite
3. ZUID Indian
4. Gujju
5. Delhi-ite
6. Vengaluru
7. Chennai-ite
8. Hyderabadi a-la-Amitabh
9. Fair-skinned Muslims
10. Kashmiris

I realise that your ranking is tongue in cheek and not to be taken
seriously.
However we always hear how there is nepotism and class discrimination in
Indian cricket

Out of interest can you point me to some info that attempts to show this by
breaking down test players into their classes?

I will do it ... just give me a week since I am leaving day after for a
ski trip ....
this is really cool, I am sure 99% of Indian cricketers fall into these
categories
