What's with Gray and his scorched earth exit strategy?  He has been whining
a lot lately.  He did a good job for the ICC and cricket, this should have
been a graceful exit.

Why bring shit up, which he did not do shit about, when he was in a position
to give a shit?

Interesting comment about the ACB not being competent in handling large
sums of money. I would've thought that the ACB were the best in the ICC
at it. Maybe they still owe Gray some travel allowance from his days
there...

I'm sure the ACB are very competent about handling large sums of
money, miles ahead of any other country, it's just that it's all done
very much under the counter.
Shame & Markey can vouch for that.

Besides, Alvey, I think the shit that was referred to was horse shit.
You know, the sort that comes in abundance from high horses.
Just be careful not to fall off (of).

Depends what he means by "handling". Any schmuck can open up a bank
account and keep the books balanced. I have no idea... does the ACB
plough a lot of it's money into the grass roots game?

But I find it all a bit too much like sour grapes now. Unless Gray's
taking his opportunity to raise an alarm about what he sees as
problems in the game.

Yes, we've gathered you didn't get the joke the first time.  I've
never heard of someone explaining the***to themselves before.

We?
Who, you and Alvey?
Well, that counts for a lot, doesn't it.......

FYI, Mobes, I got the joke, I even followed it up with one or two of
my own.
Oh, that's right, they weren't jokes because they portrayed various
Australians (you know, those guys who are best in the world at just
about anything) in a less than shining light.
Besides, I thought that's what the other posts had done as well.
I guess you didn't get the joke either.

Hope you enjoyed your break.
Did you take time out to guess the weight of the Higgs boson?

I think he is trying to highlight the "gray" areas before he
leaves.....................:-)

Gray did a good job? Like what?
He is doing a better job now by atleast talking about the defeciencies
that exist/existed in the cricketing world and most importantly
letting the world that he should have done more than what he did
(which essentially tells he did not do  a satisfactory job)

to give a shit?

(if you had not top-posted, you would have seen that)

No, one saying he regrets not doing more, is just that.

Obviously my mistake.  It's always been my experience that, when
someone is told a joke, they don't follow it right up with exactly the
same one.

However, I can see that there are different stroke for different folks
and I'm sure that when you eventually do get it, you'll be happy to
repeat it for us again.

Yes, obviously your mistake.
