Let us forget about the unimportant World Cup.

The knock-out stagees of the (Pepsi) Ranji Trophy has begun already.
The pre-quarter finals are already over.

The quarter finals will be played between:

1. Bombay   v Tamil Nadu
2. Baroda   v Karnataka
3. Vidarbha v Hyderabad
4. Railways v Delhi

(substitute 'Mumbai' for Bombay, 'Vadodhara' for Baroda,
 and some joke Hindi word for Railways)

After a long time, Ranji Trophy will return to Karnataka
this year:-)

That would be absolutely thrilling. They have performed really
well so far winning both the 4-day and the 1-day versions of the South
Zone championship. I am not sure that the trio of Kumble, Srinath and
Prasad played in all those matches. Sunil Joshi is the new star. Unbelievable.

up against TN?
