Former Australian Test Umpire Rowan should be charged and prosecuted

Murali should go to court and file a deformation case against the former
umpire Rowan who made defamatory remark about him. Cricket is the profession
of Murali. What Rowan suggested is that he is earning his living illegally.
This can be compared to a professional like doctor or layer practicing
illegally. He has all the scientific and medical evidence and ICC has
cleared his action like (Lee, Akthar, Haribajan) This is not freedom of
speech. This is deforming one of the best players to play the game. He surly
has a case against Rowan who came from nowhere to allege him and deform him
in public. I think ACB is behind this. Murali is a victim of politics in
cricket boards as well as people with different agendas. It is time to stand
up for the integrity of this great bowler.

All you would have to do is prove that Murali has bowled every ball in
international cricket with a legal action.  Impossible, even if he had.

Well spotted.

All those tests do is say he can bowl legally.  They do not say he
always bowls legally under match conditions.

I agree completely.

This should be interesting.  I suggest we hold the case in a neutral
country, but not one with ridiculously loose libel laws like USA.  How about
Canada?

I would welcome such a case.  Rowan's legal team would be able to prove
in court that Muralitharan *does* throw some deliveries, and we would
all be justified.

I would love to see Murali go to court & put forth a case that because I
didn't
chuck in HongKong, it has been proved that I never chuck.

Whom should Murali hire ? - OJ's lawyer(s) ?

As per medical reports, Rowan didn't deform Murali. Murali was born
deformed, I think.

You probably mean "defame".

Look forward to you getting them straight then.  maybe you could start

medical evidence on his side.

To my knowledge, Murali has NEVER had any scientific tests conducted on
his bowling while under match conditions.

Until such time as that occurs the tests onlyt show that he can bowl
legally, not that he does bowl legally.  And as for the medical tests
they only show he has a deformity, which stops him straightening his arm
completely, again this does not preclude him form throwing.
