I wouldn't call it all that amazing, considering that the pitch was
dead as a dodo and that 4/5 others made tons.

Really, the people responsible for making that pitch should be shot.

Now here we have somebody interesting. I am sorry I don't have
any stats on him, but I quote from an interview
conducted (by Rohan) with Robin Singh at the recent Hong Kong sixers.

vvsl: Robin: what do you think of Murali Karthik ?

Robin: This guy is good - I forgot him earlier. I saw him once.
Maninder [Singh] says he is about the best left hand
spinner in India at the moment. They have asked him to play for
Madras, but he has refused - because too much politics. If
he can handle the pressure, he can play for India.

vvsl: Robin: how would he compare against Nilesh Kulkarni considering
both are prospects ?

Robin: Not much of a comparison. Kulkarni is okay, but he has
a long way to go.

Another bright Bombay hope! And not from Sharadashram too!
Are there any bright young fellows from Hyderabad? I havent been following
local cricket in India much of late, but I would definitely be thrilled if
any Hyderabadis make it.
And while Im about it: Go Azza!!
Hope he gets a couple of centuries against SA.

You will be pleased to know that VVSLaxman, 22, is from
Hyderabad. He is currently in the India (Test) squad, and
is considered a good prospect.

Don't know if he will get a go in the XI though.
