An idea on Australia's and West Indies' refusal to play in Sri Lanka?

An idea on Australia's and West Indies' refusal to play in Sri Lanka?

This has probably been mentioned before, but I haven't noticed it - so
I'll say it...

[disclaimer over!]

When Sri Lanka were given two points for each of their forfeited games,
perhaps Australia and West Indies should also have been *docked*
two points (ie putting them at -2 points after one game)?

Presumably the rules say that this can't happen - but the threat of
it happening would surely have made Australia and West Indies
think twice?

Steve.

I think that it would take a little bit more than the threat of docking
points for Australia/WI to think twice when the possibilty of
having your self blown to bits is the major consideration.

Amazing what sort of individuals give their opinions on cricket.

Cricket is about fair play, not name-calling or wishing an opponent a
bad result.

Your opinions are simply not cricket. Kindly go and "support" some
other sport... professional wrestling perhaps?
