Most of the stuff is locked at 0.2 fps (look in the stats menu in
realplayer) this is due to the huge bandwith the faster speeds take up.
This makes it look like a "slideshow" on even the fastest modems. The
recent Australia/Pakistan matches were at a more acceptable 15fps but even
with a 56.6k modem going full speed you would be lucky to get half that.
I agree they should have a 100k or faster feed for those with cable or
satellite/isdn/asdl connections
Jagged Internet Works if you are listening, us cricket fans want a
worldwide satellite cricket channel,useing digital encoding its possible
to fit at least 5 digital channels on 1 satellite transponder, plus a dozen
or so radio commentarys or audio feeds in other languages.
I would pay $500 a year for something like this!
