Going in I expect India vs SL for the final, but should it come
about I'll certainly enjoy seeing Pakistan vs NZ.

Pakistan aren't a surprise to me, but NZ certainly are.

Yes, NZ definitely pulled off a surprise victory against SA but Pak is
in the semis on merit. It's going to be a cracker semi that, Ind vs
Pak. Can't say the same for the other one. NZ gonna get smashed
good. :-(

Woof, woof!

No worries mate.  Rosy will prevail in the end and it will be Pak vs
NZ finals.  Then Afridi will have a brilliant idea and will have
Akthar to bowl full tosses to Rosy and that will be that. Pallekele
all over again.

At the start of the tournament, I expected Ind, SA, Aus and SL to most
certainly make it to the SF.
Ironically the oldest teams in cricket, Eng, Aus and WI are out. I
think that NZ can cause an upset. They have some good containing
bowlers (N. McCullum, Oram) and also wicket taking (Oram, Vettori).
The fielding adds a lot of pressure. If their top order fires (B.
McCullum, Ryder, Taylor, Guptill and also Styris) and if they bat
first, SL will be under pressure (like against Pak)

All logic says that. But then all logic said that they would be smashed
by SA.
