Hot off the press, Hicky has just got century 99. Now level with Glenn
Turner as Worcs leading century getter.

May he still be batting tomorrow  when I am there to see it

You should have been a Boycs fan. He would always have been happy to
fulfil that sort of desire. (Comment on other desires he might have
been willing to satisfy withheld because someone seems to have walked
off with the sick-bag, and we don't want Jackie making yet another
mess on the floor)

Cheers,

Mike

As he has just got out for 104 it seems a little unlikely unless Worcs
now collapse and then bowl Sussex out quickly

Boo hoo. One of these days, I will be there to see another Hick century.
Of course Moody could declare now, then Worcs bowl Sussex out tonight,
Weston or Solanki get out about 11.30 tomorrow which is when I will
arrive at New Road, then I'll see century 100!

Ok- not likely, but it is nice in cloud cuckoo land.

Graeme Ashley Hick - a classic case of the standards of the English county
cricket scene. NINETY NINE firstclass hundreds, only FOUR test 100s, 2 ODI
100s, a test batting avg of 36.

Add to this, Hick may become the youngest (currently) after Wally
Hammond to do. Also, maybe the quickest after only D.G. Bradman and
D.Compton in term of number of innings. Extraordinary for a player who
was once shafted by Ambrose and co...oh well...
Cheers

He's done it! YEEESSSS.  This has to be the only good thing that ahs
happened cricket wise all day, except perhaps the "bears" copping a whiping
at Somerset.  Now, don't pick him Gravy, see what he can do!
