Hi,

I was going through Cricinfo's English Domestic season section and
discovered that not one county has an overseas player from India. Is there
a particular reason for this, or just by chance this season?

Hi,
  There is no Indian players playing in the English Domestic season
because our board had prohibited them to sign such contracts. The primary
reason being the Independece Cup as well as the continuing iterney. Bad
luck for a lot of players.

apart from these the injuries to Srinath, resting of Kumble contributed
them not playing this season.
