Well done indeed

I didn't know the match was 20/20 until I tuned in. Great match, it
wobbled both ways a bit right to the end.
Do you think wickets in hand is important in 20/20 ?
India could have been beaten and still had wickets left. The pace of
the game is fast and the overs remaining can vanish quickly.
Early runs seems to be the a key, get the runs on the board early and
then slog like mad until you run out of overs (or wickets).

It's not so much wickets as hitters. Teams will usually send their big
hitters in early and if they are all gone by halfway the innings can
peter out rather disappointingly. If you have a lower order who can
swing the bat lustily and often, wickets in hand aren't as important
as they are if the hitting stops when the fifth wicket falls.

Cheers,

Mike

Splendid while it lasts, and no waiting involved.

Because India made a hash of a simple total. And that too against a
second grade attack.

Don [what a skidder of a delivery from Aggy - before Devilliers could
bend
down and put down full face of the bat,  the ball had swung off the
deck and
taken the bat's edge]
