Don't forget Saeed Anwar

Don't forget Saeed Anwar

Among the hype surrounding Shahid Afridi at the moment, I would just like
to pay tribute to Saeed Anwar, whose century, while not as fast (but
certainly at a good pace), held the Pakistan innings together after
Afridi departed. Afridi could probably have gone on to beat Viv Richard's
189 not out and register the first ever ODI double century, but that is
now past. Saeed has been the backbone of the Pakistan side in terms of
consistency, and without his carefully paced century, it would be Sri
Lanka in the final against S.Africa. Three cheers for Pakistan's best
batsman!!
