While it appears to be genuine, I have trouble comprehending why "The
Chappell Way" promotes itself by posting Usenet messages via Google Groups
and boasts a gmail email address.

It would bother me to hand over money to a so-called business that couldn't
spend $10 on a meaningful domain (The domain that you requested,
thechappellway.com, is still available!  The domain that you requested,
cricketdownunder.net, is still available!).  As it is, something is missing.
I'm not in a position to judge whether it's the legitimacy of the operation
or the competency of the people involved, but the way they conduct business
doesn't instil confidence.

True. If one is seriously interested in going with teams to play in
other countries you can contact me on my email address. Note, I have
not till today even mentioned this, but reading about what this person
has written it seems that if there are genuine people interested in
playing cricket in other countries I will certainly try and help them.
I personally do not take teams but I know of an individual who has been
sort of one of the pioneers in this field (of taking teams abroad to
play against quality club teams, that is teams that usually have at
least a few first class players in them or at least players of that
calibre).

In any event if someone is interested just send me an email on my above
email and I will put you in touch with that person.

Well, your email id is a yahoo email address - if you want your
offers of contacting a friend taken seriously, you better get a
meaningful domain - note that
pioneerfriendtakingteamsabroadtoplayqualityclubteams.com
is still still available. And what's you friend's email id? Is
it on yahoo/gmail or on a meaningful domain?

Greg had a vision, did he?
Does he propose to visit every city, town and hamlet? Maybe he can
bathe in the Ganges and marry Yoko Ono.
I hope he doesn't forget Farrukhabad, Alleppey, Kohima, Jodhpur, and
Tirruchhirappalli.

The reason this was posted on Usenet was to get a wider audience.
We have a regular domain but it is being spammed and getting a lot of
unwanted, nuisance mail.
Also lot of people call on our number for unsolicited advice.
Thank you for your interest.

What kind of spam is it that you get & wish to avoid? - adverti***ts
for unasked for & unsolicited services - like someone offering to
send you to some cricket coaching academy?
