day 2 will be very important for both teams. Can India get NZ out for
under 250 ? If they do, then they still will have to bat out of their
skin to get back into the match. Will Srinath produce another dream
spell like the one in Calcutta against PAK and like Ahmedabad against
SA ? Or can Prasad do a Chennai ? I was surprised that Mohanty was not
included on a fast seaming wicket. Too early to judge but ONE BAD
session in the past has cost the series. Luckily, the next 2 Tests
will be on spinning tracks, so its going to be an intersting series.
India has fought back in 2nd innings a lot of times. Perhaps its time
for Kapil to sit down with the boys and think about saving the match
instead of telling them to enjoy and Rock & Roll...
I think India will win the series 2-1. I had said 2 months back when
the schedule was out that India can forget about winning at Mohali.
BCCI schedulers should be shot for holding the 1st Test of the season
at Mohali. The boys are still in ODI mood and NZ are still in Test
match frame. It may be too late for this test but its good for Indian
cricket.. an early kick up the backside will do more than all the talk
from Kapil. Now, watch the wounded Tiger hunt the Kiwis...
