Congratulations, yes. But did anyone notice the
dateline on that report? 2006. Bharat's achievement
has been acknowledged before on RSC.

Ah, no wonder I had a feeling of deja vu. But 2006 is much too recent
for me to remember it clearly. :)

But hes still biased in his thinking as seen in his innumerous taunts
at Sachin in the 90s just because he was a Mumbaikar and hyping up
Dravid and Laxman before their fall from their heights....an
intelligent man need not be a man of good character you know.

You are the same guy who mentioned that Tendulkar gets out becos the
crowd is against him. If it is true, then he is not worth the hype!

tendulkar might as well the greatest technical bat ever, but he is
"acha bachaa" with no stones. He shows absolutely no leadership skills
in the field. If he had, Monkey gate would have never happened.

Dumbo, you must be drunk. Monkey gate happened due to Harbhajan, the
Dennis the Menace of Indian team. It was Sachin's dignity that
resolved the Monkey Gate episode without Indian team having to return
and cancel the tour.

And playing cricket with passion for 20 years with the same zeal and
ability to make runs, has any other cricketer got as many stones as
Tendulkar for that?

My post was regarding sachin's leadership not batting ability.

If sachin was a good leader, he would have recognized trouble the
minute symo start walking towards baji and told symo to take a hike
and would have diffused the situation. Didn't happen and his rambling
explanation about how incident was about friendship didn't help one
bit. I'd have preferred him beating symo with a bat instead of the
dealing with the issue afterwards.

Boss you don't know about crisis situations then....if Sachin had not
intervened and pushed back Hayden, things would have gotten worse and
resulted into
a***fight literally the way Harbhajan was not subsiding down...it
was Sachin in the middle who calmed things down...compare this to
Gavaskar who asked his fellow batsman to walk away with him to the
pavilion when he thought he was wrongly given out...at least Sachin
did not do somethings as stupid as that...
