I recently sent a broken club to Daiwa for repair. I am happy to say that
I did so at the prompt of someone on the Internet. Anyway, against my
better judgement, I sent the club to Daiwa thinking it was going to cost
me more. I received a call from their service department to determine
warranty status. I told them it wasn't under warranty as it got in a fight
(unintentional) with a cypress tree and lost.
To make a long story short, they replaced my broken shaft (graphite) and
shipped it back to me at no charge. I am really impressed! I may not use
their clubs the rest of my life, but I wall ALWAYS recommend them.
