I dont have the averages but if you would like to know how far you hit with
each club have a look at www.personalcaddy.com this will give you the
ability to work out your own average down to a yard or metre.

Supposedly, about:  3/180, 4/170, 5/160, 6/150, 7/140, 8/130,
9/120, PW/105, SW/90, LW/70.  This table [from an old golf mag]
is obviously very variable...and includes the high handicappers
and old geezers :-)

Thanks a lot, Bruce! <g> Actually, from this old geezer's perspective, the
numbers seem pretty accurate as typical distances.

i don't know about averages, but i can hit every club in my bag about 100
with a full swing(the only clubs i've used more than once are the 8-i and
putter)

Actually, despite the fact that I'm over 50 AND a high han-
dicapper, I average about 10 yards longer than average.  {I
have some Lake Wobegone heritage I guess.]

Anyway, the important aspect is knowing your average swing,
average conditions yardages.  If you're on the dance floor
in regulation, it's insignificant what club was used.
