Which RSG'ers would you cast in a remake of Caddieshack?

Post by mbrya » Thu, 25 Jan 2001 16:20:13

I was watching the movie the other day and trying to think of who to cast in
certain roles. I think George would be good as Al Czervick and maybe BK as
Judge Smails. Carl Spackler is a tough one but D'Annunzio would definately
be Annika and maybe Bruce Newman as Ty Webb. I'm talking to my agent
tomorrow.

I think I may have been insulted here, but after walking out of this
movie when it first appeared, I have no idea what the Judge's
character is.

Based solely on descriptions of his accent perhaps David Sneddon as the
fuzzy little foreigner, Sandy.

BTW, are you going to eat your fat?

Can I be the gopher?  I am sure that most people who guess I can fit down a gopher hole,
anyway.

No insult intended. Judge Smails isn't a bad guy, he just always wants to
follow the rules.

Thought it might be because Ted Knight played the role...but his real
name was Theodore C. Konopka...not Knight. I always like to be
compared to those who follow the rules (of golf).

The fact that you walked out of caddyshack, solidifies your position as the
perfect Judge Smails :)

bk, the Judge's character could be described as the kind of guy who
walks out of a movie like Caddyshack...other than the remarkable
coincidence of your post here, I've read nothing else from you that
indicates you would be suitable for the role.

Respectfully,

Lumpy.

I'm surprised you didn't write me in for the part of Lacey Underall.  I think
Hibbard would be the Bishop.  Newman seems like more of a Judge Smails type.
Felicity would be Mrs. Smails. I like Clary to play Ty Webb and Dan Doyle can
be the caddiemaster.  Maybe we could recruit Chazman to play Al Czervik.  And I
think Zamuel would make a good Carl.  He's got that goin for him ..... which is
nice.

Well, I was under the impression that it was supposed to be a golf

No way anyone is going to want to see your hairy ass sliding *** in to
Ty Webbs pool, or pond, a pond would be good for you.
