Refinishing Callaway woods

Refinishing Callaway woods

Post by Larry Lev » Mon, 30 Oct 2000 08:13:44

I just recently purchased a used Callaway BB driver( 10 degrees,
RCH60, reg flex). I got a great price on it and I hit it well.

The only problem is cosmetic, which is not that big a deal. The
urethane coating is wearing off in spots and it would look a whole lot
nicer if the head is redone.

Does Callaway refinish BB heads? Does anyone know what the price might
be or what the turn-around time is?

Guess I have to send Jeff Chung a revised RSG listing now :)

Thanks guys,

Refinishing Callaway woods

I had mine reshafted recently and they refinished the head in the process.  I'm
sure they'll do it separately.  You've been warned though - the reshafting cost
$115 - so the refinishing will probably cost more than you expected.

Hi, Dave:

Yikes, ok. Hmmm, I only paid $50,00 for the club. Other than the
urethane finish that I mentioned, its really clean. There's no
scratches or dents. New Golf Pride 50th Anniversary grip and BB head
cover too.

Do you recall how long it too for Callaway to get the club back to
you?

What shaft did they put on it?

Thanks,

-Larry
