I heard this was a excellent deal. I work at a pro shop and took it out on the
course for a couple swings. Looks good and I thought id pass along the info. If
you want to know where to get it for cheaper e-mail me.

Thanks,
Derek

Let me guess--you sell them cheaper?

Spammer, go away.

Everytime somebody writes in with product info we get "Spammer go away" from
you.  This doesn't appear to be spam to me, and don't refer me to the FAQ or
charter.

Lighten up.  It probably takes you more time to respond to these than to
ignore them.

By the way, do you ride in the left hand lane on the freeway doing the speed
limit, and no more, so nobody can pass?  You strike me as somebody who does.

Personally, I would rather read spam than spammer-go-away messages.

What your reply fails to realize is that the particular person Mike was
responding to (Derek15000) has been inflicting multiple spams on this group
this entire weekend.

Really?  Every time?  Hyperbole is a wonderful thing.  Except when it's
overused.

Did it ever occur to you that the reason we have as little spam in this
group as we do is because people like me (and about a dozen others)
stomp on it?

I don't, contrary to your assertion, respond to every spammer.  But it's
my turn every once in a while, and by the way, I haven't noticed you
doing much to maintain the signal-to-noise ratio.

I don't think I'll refer you to either, doesn't sound like it would do
much good.

Meanwhile, you think the post I responded to doesn't appear to be spam?
Said SPAMMER is associated with the "Caddie Pro Shop, has SPAMMED us
with several other posts this weekend, and announces that "If you want
to know where to get it for cheaper e-mail me."

This doesn't strike you as spam?  What, in heavens name, given the
recent rash of self-serving SPAM posts he's foisted on us, and this
rather useless post the gist of which was "I can get it for you cheap,"
WOULD qualify as SPAM, if that doesn't?

Lighten up?  You're the guy who, in just about 10 more lines, is going
to insult me.  It strikes me that you might need to lighten up more than
I.

As I--and others--have said before, if you let it go, you invite more.
Yes, it takes time to respond to them.  It also, in my view, is part of
being a member of this community.  You have to take some responsibility.

Oh, jeez, now we're into the personal attack stuff.  Why is it that
today, one can't seem to have a civil conversation without it
degenerating into insults?  Are you a personal friend of this SPAMMER?
Are you someone who condones SPAMMING?  God, save us all from fools and
poltroons.

Mr. DiPrimeo:

Having been involved with this ng for some time now I feel that
newcomers should defer to those, such as Mike Dalecki, who have kept it
one of the most spam-free on the Internet.

Let me put it another way; ***out unless you have something useful to
say.
